La Romana
If you drive along the southeast coast, you pass sugarcane fields and arrive in La Romana.
Here are located Casa de Campo and Altos de Chavon and the tourist resorts and beaches of Bayahibe and Dominicus and the islands of Saona and Catalina.
The beaches of Bayahibe and Dominicus , about 30 minutes from the city of La Romana, acommodate the largest hotel development in the region.

Altos de Chavón
Altos de Chavón is the main attraction of the region.

With a large selection of sports activities and excursions Laromana, Bayahibe and Dominicus are ideal destinations for a family holiday.
You can make your PADI diving certificate, learn windsurfing, kayaking or a banana boating, fishing, horseback riding, take a trip with quads and much more. Other popular destinations include visits to the nearby Cueva de las Maravillas, between San Pedro de Macoris and La Romana and the Cueva de Berna in Boca de Yuma.

The city of La Romana, Casa de Campo, together with Altos de Chavon and the Marina Casa de Campo, and the beach of Dominicus and Bayahibe zones have a wide range of fashion, craft and art, many of them handmade.
